Golf With a View
The story of Aberdour Golf Club, from 1896 to the present day.
Aberdour Golf Club is over 120 years old and was formed in 1896. Jack Bald researched the Club's history from 1896 to 1996 and authored 'The First Hundred Years' to mark the Centenary, later extended by Honorary President Ron Scott to cover the years to the present day.
The Club was formed in 1896 on land at Couston Farm, funded by a Village Bazaar, before moving to Bellhouse Park in 1905. An 18 hole course was opened in 1914, and the course has been developed and extended over the following decades.
Today the Club has a membership of over 800, welcomes over 3000 visitors a year, and plays over a course length of 5447 yards.
Where history, beauty, and a passion for the game come together.
